Our Business is Words

Founded in 2004 by Alison Withers, Multimedia Reputations extends the disciplines of accuracy, thorough research and deadlines of the newspaper industry from print through to the web.

We use the latest marketing and communication techniques to manage the online reputations of businesses and individuals in the digital age.

We offer a comprehensive service including both online and print, where required, working closely with associates in graphic design and website development to ensure continuity and coherence in all aspects of our clients' professional reputations.

Alison has 15 years' experience as a newspaper journalist, combining general news and features as a district chief reporter with a specialism as a correspondent in ethnic issues and geopolitics.

She started her career in advertising – as an account executive in the North East of England, then as a classified ad manager - before taking a break to read for a degree at the University of East Anglia, Norwich.

Alison also has three years' experience of conducting doorstep market research and has had occasional commissions as a freelance illustrator.

She has a degree in Development Studies, is an NCTJ-qualified journalist and won the Commission for Race Equality's Race in the Media award in 1992, reaching the final three in the following two years.
